Johnson, Koepka’s big mate, also looks tailor-made for this course given his huge power and accuracy off the tee. He started the day by bogeying the 10th but has since picked up shots at the 11th and the 13th, moving up to two under. Two of the ‘Bash Brothers’ are now in the top three.

Patrick Cantlay, who made a big charge in the final round at the Masters, is also now at two under after a brilliant tee shot to 15 feet sets up birdie at the par-3 6th.
