Rory McIlroy has revealed what Tiger Woods messaged him after winning the Players Championship at Sawgrass on Sunday.

The world No 4 saw off fierce competition from American Jim Furyk in the final round, carding 70 to finish on 16 under.

And the Northern Irishman was filmed on Golf TV discussing what legendary golfer Tiger Woods texted him after his triumph.
