Justin Rose insists regaining the world No 1 slot is not his primary objective as he heads into the Hero World Challenge in the Bahamas.

Rose, who has been top of the rankings twice already this year, goes into the event at No 2 behind Brooks Koepka, who is not competing at the Albany Golf Course.

Although the Hero World Challenge is not an official money event, world ranking points are available which could help lift Rose back towards the top.
